- Externally used for gout and rheumatism.
- Decoctionof flowers are carminative, emollient, diuretic.
- Used for gastrointestinal maladies.
- Both leaves and flowers are used for scurvy and xerophthalmia.
- Good for anemia because of abundant iron content.
